Our client is looking for a Snowflake Data Management Specialist with a minimum of 8 years of experience specializing in Analytical data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse and its features, along with a good understanding of cloud AWS architecture and its services. This is a contract to hire position.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and analyze SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration.
• Build ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using Python and Snowflake SQL, and develop scripts using Unix shell for data extraction and loading.
• Understand logical and physical data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
• Create SQL-based processes for building slowly changing dimension and various types of facts.
• Perform Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling Mapping Integration, ETL Validation Cleansing Masking Sub setting, Profiling Archiving, Purging Virtualization, Metadata Management, Performing Unit Test, System integration test Support, UAT.
• Engage in SQL performance tuning and root cause analysis, resolving technical issues.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Management and specialized in Analytical data warehousing.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud warehouse and its features.
• Good knowledge of cloud AWS architecture and its services.
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL procedures for data integration.
• Experience in ETL development using Python and Snowflake SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of logical and physical data models.
• Experience in Data Lineage Analysis, Data Profiling Mapping Integration, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with Agile methodology and documentation using Jira.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
